Cycle parking and route map, Sarlat

Cycling postie, Sarlat

There's no space for cars and bikes together on this roundabout - drivers should definitely give way, in theory.

No motor vehicles on this cut-through to Lidl, Sarlat

The cycleway ends when you get to the roundabout - of course.

I don't think anyone thought about whether this was a cycle route or not.

A complex junction of Canal Road, Valley Road, Balme Street and the goods ramp from the Broadway shopping centre. The traffic signals seemed to be quite responsive to the limited traffic I saw at the time.

A segregated cycle track on Valley Road. A bit surprising that half-battered kerbs have been used rather than the splayed ones used nearby on CS1 at #89793.

A typical sight throughout Britain - if a car can't drive along it, let's not bother looking after it. This could be part of a good route between Tyldesley and Bolton but its poor condition renders it an unattractive proposition. Further ... [more]

The unsealed surface on this new cycleway is already beginning to show signs of water damage.

New cycleway across Cutacre Country Park. Loose gravel surface so be careful when turning.

  • Icon 110423 Residents on this estate have been struggling to find space to lock up their bikes. We have received letters from Southwark Council asking us to remove bikes from communal areas in our building because these are a hazard, but so far no alternative provision has been offered. A simple rail tucked behind the staircase in our courtyard between Cavour and Suffield House would be really appreciated.
  • Icon 110373 There is nowhere safe and secure to park a bike in this area. I suggest Kensal Rise station and Kensal Green station as a minimum. There could also be secure parking spaces at the end of the residential streets for all the people who live in flats and have no space.

  • Icon 110043 There is currently no bike parking at this station Bikes are having to be chained on road fences and often are cut off by council
