Now that’s how you design a quick build cycle lane and bus stop!! Admittedly, it does help if you’ve spent half a century aggressively widening roads in the name of car dominance.

First time I have seen a bike hangar out in the wild in ⁦@CityWestminster⁩ 😊

The Regent’s Canal towpath is not much use for effective cycling when there are many people enjoying the waterway vicinity on foot.

New contraflow cycle lane, blocked by a Royal Mail van which forces cyclists out into oncoming traffic.

I can't tell how much this is roadworks and how much it's a covid-19 pop-up cycle facility.

Cycle stands but no dropped kerb where there could be a route to and across Paddington Basin.

Not a cycle route, not a cycle stand, but people do ride through here.

Decorative bridge at Paddington Basin - not a cycle route.

Westminster borough is taking a different approach to Covid-19 to Camden - not pop-up cycle lanes, but taking roadspace outside Marks & Spencer to help social distancing by pedestrians.

Lots of bike stands and sheltered bike-sharing stations

The sign shows Marylebone 3/4 of a mile to the right - not great for those who don't realise that Marylebone station is right there in front of them.

Shared-use footway and cycle-sharing station.

The No Cycling sign should be beyond the turning to the left.

The cycle route sign has been turned 90 degrees - it's for traffic heading west/to the right.

Cyclists are supposed to turn right only because they can't be trusted to wait for pedestrians at the crossing to the left.

New contraflow cycleway and dooring zone

Nice level access to South Molton Street but there's a No Entry sign, alas.

Does there really need to be a cycling ban on Shepherd's Place in this day and age?

End of shared-use cycleway, turn left or right - there's a No Cycling sign (just to the right) for the footway ahead.

Pedestrian cut-through

No idea what slowing down is meant to achieve. Telling drivers to leave space might make more sense.

Is that a Cambridge Kerb on New Bond Street? (Ed: no) But those aren't cycle lanes on either side so maybe they're for pedestrians to share with parked cars.
